If you are new to faith, exploring faith or have questions, we have a great way for you to learn and ask. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting.
This twelve-week course is designed to investigate the various claims of Christianity and answer those daunting questions about God and the world today.
People enjoy great food, laughter, and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life and God is seen as too simple or too hostile… questions like – Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
This course is ideal for those who have not yet made up their mind about their faith, new believers, and anyone who wants to learn!

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is designed for people who don’t normally go to church. People from a whole range of ages and backgrounds, all with different viewpoints, are attracted by the opportunity to explore their questions.
Can I try it without doing the whole course?
Absolutely. We aim to create a welcoming environment with absolutely no pressure. So, if after visiting you don’t feel the course is for you, no worries.
Does the course explore other Religions?
Not really. The course content is designed to help you explore your questions in the context of the Christian faith.
How much will it cost me?
There is a $5 cash charge per session for our Restaurant Alpha courses, payable at the beginning of the session to help defray the cost.
There is no charge for Alpha courses occurring at Beulah’s West Campus, although donations are welcome and appreciated. If you require childcare for kids ages 0-7, fees apply. Registration and payment is here.
What can I expect?
Each session begins with a meal or some light refreshments and a chance to get to know others in the small group. We then listen to a short talk and take some time to discuss what we’ve heard together. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and questions and learn from one another’s perspectives.
