Your Generosity is Changing Lives

We can express our love of God, the church, and others with our finances. A generous life is a true expression of a life committed to Christ and His mission for His church. Through joyful generosity, our lives are changed, and our world can be positively influenced. Our giving will have a significant impact on the church and our own individual spiritual journey as we follow God’s leading toward living a committed, generous life.

FINANCIAL GIVING UPDATE

Here’s a snapshot of what your faithful giving has fueled this past year at Beulah across our four campuses!

We saw a 12% increase in attendance on our weekends across all campuses and online. Duing our Christimas Eve services, 4442 people were invited to make room in their hearts for Jesus. We gave away 376 food hampers, donated $40,000 to the Edmonton Food Bank, became a Food Bank Mobile Depot, supported Hope Mission with sanitary/hygiene products, and blessed youth emergency shelters and the Edmonton Police with Christmas gifts, just to name a few of our many initiatives. 3356 people joined us for the first time at one of our campuses. 254 people explored life, faith, and meaning together with others through Alpha. 108 people made a public declaration of their faith through baptism. 361 kids engaged weekly with the life transforming message of Jesus. 234 youth gathered weekly on Wednesday nights to be discipled in their relationship with Jesus. 1521 adults and young adults gathered regularly in their Beulah community. Your $400,000 of giving to our missions fund contributed to the support of 162 Alliance missionaries in 33 different countries.

It is incredible that attendance through the first weeks of this new year have continued to grow as people gather to hear the gospel message – May all glory be to God!

Churchwide giving has started strong and is ahead of budget (and higher than last January too) after the first month.

We are hopeful that all this momentum continues beyond Easter as we aim to awaken Greater Edmonton to King Jesus through the faithful giving of your tithes and offerings.

We trusted in God with the commitment that He asked us to make. And it was really amazing how He actually came through and made the finances work for us. It’s up to each and every one of us to do our part. In big and small ways.

CARE & COMPASSION

We believe that the love of Jesus is expressed as we reach out to those in crisis in our church and community.

BOLD FAITH

The Bold Faith Initiative was created with a vision to reach more of our city by constructing an additional ministry centre in southwest Edmonton from the generosity of contributions over and above one’s regular tithes and offerings.

SPECIAL DONATIONS

Throughout the year, we identify special needs or opportunities for us to address as a church family. Through these expressions of generosity, God’s love is shared in tangible ways.

It’s trusting God that our needs will be met. We are really happy about being part of this great initiative to reach places in Edmonton that haven’t been reached before. In my job, I drive around the city a lot and I see these brand-new neighbourhoods coming up and there are no churches and I meet the people that are coming into the city. I think, “Who is going to reach these people?” And for me that was a big reason why I wanted to make a giving commitment.
