Global Impact

Missions is not just for international workers or pastors. As Christ followers, we are all called to be on mission. At Beulah, we believe that spreading God’s love is every person’s responsibility and we can all participate by praying, giving, or going.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone, everywhere.
Mark 16:15.
LOCAL
SERVE OUR WORLD FROM OUR CITY
Refugee families have various needs as they adapt to life in Edmonton. Some require help with a move, a ride to an appointment, English tutoring, assistance with finding a job, etc. We’re looking for individuals who would be interested in helping our sponsored families get the support that they need, as they adjust to living in Canadian society.

“I feel constantly challenged and pushed to serve in different ways. And to help people. Basically, not to live selfishly. We have a good and trustworthy God. He is steadfast in his promises and above all, he can be trusted.”
Jordy Hewer
INTERNATIONAL WORK

Prepare to be challenged and inspired as you look through these various serving opportunities, and join us in taking the Good News to the ends of the earth.
“I was sitting in a Beulah service and there was an International Worker there and he said, “If you feel the call of God, I want you to stand right now.” At that moment I knew that God was calling me to the mission field, so I stood. We’re not pastors and we’re not leading a church. We’re living in a neighbourhood of people who are very far from God. They need to see people who are following Jesus and see what that could look like for them. For us it’s not just talking about who Christ is, but modelling Christ to our friends around us. If you have a heart to serve Jesus, you can do that anywhere.”

SHORT TERM MISSIONS
HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED A SHORT TERM MISSION?
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:18 NIV
“We all have gifts that we can share… I’ve been blessed by having gone down there . I’ve made lifelong relationships with some of these people. I sometimes wonder if I get more out of going than what I’m able to give them. I really feel this is meant for me to be part of.”
