WELCOME TO KIDZONE!

Our desire is to partner with families in discipling their children to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. We design programming and events that will ignite children’s curiosity in Jesus and help them discover God’s great love for them. We also seek to encourage and equip families to live out their faith at home and in their community.

KIDZONE WEEKEND PROGRAMMING

NURSERY

(INFANTS & TODDLERS)

Providing quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment during our weekend services.

EARLY CHILDHOOD

(PRESHOOL-KINDERGARTEN)

Children experience God and His Word through age-appropriate worship, activities and creative Bible teaching.

ELEMENTARY

(GRADES 1-6)

Relevant, age-appropriate teaching, music, and conversations will challenge kids to really consider who God is and what that means for them.

Children matter to God and they matter to us! That’s why we go all out to prepare age-based, dynamic and fun programs that teach children at every age level the timeless truth of God’s love for them.

An exciting part of our weekend programming at all our campuses is Project Grow. This program is designed to let us partner with you in building spiritual habits into your children’s life throughout the week.

Project Grow brings age-appropriate goals and incentives into each classroom so that children experience immediate, tangible rewards as they learn to recognize the long-term value of these spiritual habits.

We hope you’ll join us in encouraging your children to talk about what they learn in KidZone, read their Bible during the week, remember God’s truths, and share all of this with their friends!

BAPTISM (Grades 5-6)

Has your child…

  • Asked Jesus into your heart to be your Lord and Saviour?
  • Asked for forgiveness and want to turn from sin?
  • Decided you want to obey and follow Him?
  • Decided you want to be baptized and feel God is asking you to?

Child dedications are so much more than ceremony. This is a chance for parents to make a commitment to disciple their children and raise them to know Jesus. As a church family we make a commitment to be there for these families. To be the ones to pray with them, to mentor and cheer their children, and to always point them towards Jesus.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What will my child learn in KidZone?

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and interactive teaching.

Will my child make friends in KidZone?

Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We’re passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide a variety of learning options from birth-sixth grade during all of our weekend experiences.

When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.

How do I check-in my child to KidZone?

On your first visit, look for the KidZone Central guest services area. If you have trouble finding it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you.

At KidZone Central, you’ll be welcomed by a KidZone volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how KidZone works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

How does KidZone ensure my child is safe and secure?

In KidZone, safety is one of our highest priorities. That’s why we have a secure check-in system at every KidZone location. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you’ll show the KidZone security tag as you enter KidZone and at your child’s classroom. Your matching tag is required for your child to be released from their room.

Every KidZone volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either send you a text message or share your child’s identification code on the call box in the Auditorium.

I have a child with special needs. Is there anything I should know before I take my child to KidZone?

If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in KidZone, we’d love to partner with you to make their experience amazing.
