SUNDAY CONNECT

THE BOOK OF JAMES
by Francis Chan

True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who’ve faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God. Move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word, to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch of life.

MEN’S TUESDAY NIGHTS

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
by Dr. David Jeremiah

The more we look around today, the more it seems our modern world and contemporary way of life are hanging by a thread. We’re emerging from the pangs of a pandemic, yet society remains haunted by the specters of socialism, globalism, and cancel culture. The economy is in flux, the church is in decline, and Jerusalem once again sits atop the powered keg of global politics. What should we do now? How can we move forward as citizens of God’s kingdom even as the world teeters on the brink?

Part 1 | Tuesdays, Jan 25-Feb 22

The Men’s Wednesday Nights Learning Community is where I can be a man talking about men things with other men on the same Spiritual Journey. We’ve built a community of trust and accountability that is hard to put into words. It hit home hard recently when I was out of work. The men from my table that I had come to know and trust were phoning me with words of encouragement and prayer (and even job prospects). I had come to Christ quite recently, and never had many close friends growing up, so this was a new one for me. It still blows me away. These truly are my brothers in Christ.
