We are going to learn what the sword of the Spirit is and how to use it in this spiritual battle that we're in. Then we're going to walk through the inspiration of the Bible, the historical reliability of it, and how we can both devotionally read it and study it.

This weekend we are kicking off a new series called “Stand Against,” and we’re going to spend the next 7 weeks in Ephesians 6 focusing on our spiritual world. Now this isn’t going to be a series focused on all the ways that we tend to stand against each other, deal in absolutes, or see “the other” as the enemy rather than simply as someone who is different. In fact, contrary to what your favourite source of news might say, and what your political views might lead you to believe, the Bible clearly states that our struggle is not against one another, but it’s against the spiritual forces around us!
