Joy to the World

The reason Paul talks so much about joy isn't because he’s a glass half full sort of guy, or because he is concerned about his “cosmic energy,” and only wants to send out positive vibes. It isn't because he’s living in denial, or that he’s out of touch with the brokenness in our world. No. It’s because he understands that joy is the DISTINCTIVE mark of Christians.

From Series: "Advent"

Advent is the period of 4 Sundays and weeks leading up to Christmas Day designed to prepare our hearts, souls, and minds for the birth of Jesus. When we remember the birth of Jesus and the way that the people of God had been waiting for centuries for the birth of their Saviour, we come to a greater appreciation and realization that we are also living in a period and season of waiting. Not for Jesus to come for the first time, but for him to come again!
