Being Courageous

Why does it seem like the primary purpose of so many people's lives is just to amass money, or to make it seem like they have lots of it? And why—no matter how much you have or don't have—does it seem like you never have enough of it? We are wrapping up our Entrusted series by unpacking why money has such a seductive allure to it, and how we can live freely and fully over it.

Stewardship is another one of those “churchy” words. You know, one of those words that we hear often but maybe don’t fully understand its meaning. And, on top of that, what does stewardship have to do with my relationship with Jesus? Think of it this way, have you ever been asked to look after someone’s house while they’re away? You go over, water the plants, cut lawn, pick up and sort the mail, maybe even tidy up because they left for the airport in a hurry. You go out of way to make sure that what has been entrusted to you remains safe and well cared for.
