What we believe determines what we value, which in turn defines how we live.
Check out our core values below to see who Beulah was, is, and will continue to be.
We are for—not against. Jesus practiced radically ordinary hospitality with everyone. Thus, we interact with others in love, gentleness, grace, and truth because we know it’s God’s kindness that leads to repentance. We are incredibly welcoming because we are a church family who is for—not against.
We plant and water seeds. Jesus invites us to play an active role in helping people find their way to Him. As His coworkers, we plant and water the seeds of the gospel in those we live, work, study, and play with, while God causes the growth. This means that no matter the effort or the result, we are relentlessly missional.
We are disciple-makers. Jesus intentionally multiplied Himself by loving, inspiring, teaching, and training His disciples to do what He did. We do the same, by equipping and empowering one another to follow Jesus, be changed by Him, and join Him in what He is doing in the world. As disciples who make disciples, we are intentionally multiplying.
We live with open hands. Jesus courageously gave up everything so that we can have everlasting life. Therefore, we surrender our time, talent, and treasure to God with joy and gratitude. By living open-handed, we are courageously generous, for it is more blessed to give than to receive.
